Gerald Riley Award

Gerald Riley Award of $2500 for an AAS member paper at Internoise 2014

Awarded by the Victorian Division of the AAS

In place of the usual Presidents Prize awarded at the Annual AAS conferences, the Victoria Division has decided to provide a $2500 Award for the best paper presented at Inter.noise 2014, Melbourne, where at least one of the authors is a member (full, graduate or student) of the AAS.

The Award is in honour of Gerald Riley who was a founding member of the Society and who served the Victorian Division for many years.  Gerald passed away in January 2014. The Gerald Riley Award will be presented at the AAS annual meeting which will be held during the time of Inter.noise 2014.

A 200 word abstract may now be submitted through the Congress website, www.internoise2014.org, where you can select from a list of potential session topics which span all aspects of noise and vibration control. With over 120 world authorities organising and chairing these sessions, the technical program will be of a high standard, so your paper will have excellent exposure to the international acoustic fraternity.

Abstracts must be submitted by May 10 (Abstract Submissions link) and papers are due July 25, 2014
